Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Representative to support our operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate finished goods shipments, coordinating with trucking companies, and maintaining proper inventory records. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and customer-focused, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Findlay Tall Timbers Distribution Center is a team-oriented, safety-first environment committed to efficient operations and exceptional customer service. We value reliability, communication, and integrity in everything we do.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipment schedules to meet customer requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers and transportation providers
- Enter and maintain accurate order and shipping data in company systems
- Monitor and update customer portals with shipment details and confirmations
- Prepare necessary documentation, including Bills of Lading and ASNs
- Address shipment-related issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Follow standard operating procedures for inventory depletion and shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate within our Quality Management System (QMS)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills (Excel, email, data entry)
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based work with extended periods of sitting
- Occasional lifting of office materials or storage boxes
- Ability to bend, kneel, or crouch as needed
Work Environment:
- Office and warehouse setting
- Proximity to warehouse machinery and noise
- Collaborative work atmosphere with frequent communication
