Role Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to support reporting, dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop Tableau dashboards, Salesforce reporting solutions, and operational analytics that provide actionable business insights. The ideal candidate is passionate about data visualization, reporting automation, and translating business needs into meaningful analytics solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or related roles
- Experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Strong experience working with Salesforce reporting and CRM data
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Tableau Prep, Tableau Server, or advanced Tableau functionality
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud reporting and dashboard customization
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, or cloud-based analytics platforms
- Background in distribution, retail, logistics, or corporate environments
- Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, preferred) and enterprise reporting environments
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and recurring reports using Tableau and other BI platforms
- Support Salesforce reporting, CRM analytics, and dashboard development initiatives
- Analyze operational, sales, financial, and customer data to identify trends and business opportunities
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Assist with reporting automation and process improvement initiatives
- Monitor data quality and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
- Create executive-ready visualizations and business performance reporting
- Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests across departments
- Work with IT and business teams on data integration and reporting enhancements
