What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Product Manager position at FTS, Inc.?
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of a configurable decisioning and workflow platform used by financial institutions and lending organizations. This platform combines rules orchestration, workflow automation, and data integration to support complex account-level decision making at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Define product direction and long-term strategy
- Shape the vision for the decisioning platform by balancing customer needs, market trends, and platform scalability. Drive the transition from custom implementations toward a standardized, multi-tenant solution.
- Own roadmap execution
- Manage priorities across active deployments, upcoming customer onboardings, and future product enhancements. Coordinate foundational platform improvements alongside customer-specific workflow delivery.
- Lead workflow and rules-engine development
- Guide the design and refinement of reusable workflows and decisioning logic. Partner with engineering teams on architecture, performance, and operational scalability for BPMN-based orchestration systems.
- Collaborate across teams
- Work closely with engineering, solutions consulting, customer success, sales, and adjacent product teams to ensure seamless integrations and successful implementations. Communicate product plans and progress clearly to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Champion customer-driven product development
- Engage directly with financial institutions and lenders to understand operational workflows, decisioning requirements, and data environments. Translate insights into scalable product capabilities rather than one-off customizations.
- Drive innovation
- Identify and prioritize new capabilities, including machine-learning-assisted decisioning, advanced automation, and enhanced integration features. Monitor industry and technology trends to keep the platform competitive.
- Apply AI-enabled product practices
- Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, workflow analysis, specification writing, backlog refinement, prototyping, and other product management activities. Help establish best practices for AI-assisted product development across the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise software products from strategy through delivery.
- Experience with workflow orchestration, rules engines, or BPMN-based systems; familiarity with Camunda is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Practical experience using AI tools in product management workflows, including specification development, prototyping, and process analysis.
- Background working on integration-heavy enterprise platforms where data strategy is a major component of the product.
- Knowledge of financial services domains such as lending, credit, collections, or banking operations is a strong advantage.
