Area Sales Manager - Homebuilding
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit and coach Sales Agents to enhance their selling, closing, and soft skills while ensuring company compliance.
- Field Management: Travel to assigned communities to directly manage field sales and ensure local goals are met.
- Data & Performance Analytics: Run reports, analyze driving metrics such as lead volume, sales conversion, and cancellation rates.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop sales plans for each community.
- Operations & Scheduling: Manage personnel scheduling for sales centers and ensure all promotional and sales materials are current, accurate, and properly displayed.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive market analyses to track and evaluate competitive industry data, and assess feedback from mystery shopping initiatives.
- Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate bi-weekly sales meetings to maintain team alignment and professionally interface with prospective buyers, customers, external agencies, and internal staff.
Key Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Real Estate License (where required by state law).
- Management Experience: 1 years of prior sales management experience.
- Industry Experience: 2 years of proven success in new home sales.
- Communication Skills: Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills tailored for a diverse audience of buyers, external partners, and team members.
- Coaching Expertise: Proven ability to develop talent.
- Mindset: Results-oriented approach focused on hitting target KPIs and broader business objectives.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and adapt to schedules exceeding 40 hours per week as business needs dictate.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
