Overview:
This role is part of the core finance and accounting leadership team with a growing organization. You will be working closely with regional and division executives to shape strategy, drive profitability, and optimize operational performance. You’ll lead financial planning, analysis, and decision support across budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial planning and analysis activities, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year strategic plans.
- Partner with regional and division leaders to guide business strategy through data-driven insights.
- Lead financial modeling for acquisition feasibility, community performance reviews, and deal structuring.
- Analyze financial statements and operational data to recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Review sales, gross margins, cycle times, and inventory to identify performance trends and support business optimization.
- Prepare monthly financial analyses and participate in corporate and division financial reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Land, and Purchasing to ensure cost accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with data teams to identify trends, improve reporting, and enhance decision-making.
- Support compliance with accounting standards and assist in evaluating financing and GAAP policy impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or real estate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
