JOB OVERVIEW
Performs disassembly and re-assembly steps with minimal instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Follows operation sheets, engineering drawings, and engineering change orders in completion of the re-assembly tasks.
- Exercisescareto ensure that each step in the process is completed correctly and that each re-assembly meets the quality specifications.
- Notifiestheappropriate personnelof any problems associated with the disassembly or re-assembly process.
- Maintains records asrequiredto charge direct labor time to specific product amounts.
- Performs duties using a variety of hand tools and related production equipment.
- Provides training and mentoring for other employees asrequired.
- Performs other routine operations withinfairly similarsituations asrequired.
- Provide written and/or oral communications concerning a variety of situations.
- Keeps workstation, tools, and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
- Understands andcomplieswithall Company, safetyrulesand regulations.
- Engages andparticipatesin aself–directed teaming environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 yearsof manufacturing experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Pass pre-employment drug testing per FAA/DOT regulations. NOTE: This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- IPC-A-610 Certification
- J-STD-001 Certification
- IPC-7711 Certification
Job Demands:
Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
