JOB OVERVIEW
As an Cleaning Technician, you will conduct surface prep operations on turbine engine components and Landing Gears using chemical, mechanical, blasting and masking processes.
Shift schedule: 7:00 am - 4:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-application preparation of parts and post-application tasks to prepare parts for subsequent manufacturing operations.
- Conduct a variety of cleaning processes on turbine engine components and landing gear using chemical and mechanical cleaning processes, following established procedures.
- Communicate frequently with team members regarding work instructions and voice problems to supervisors or other departments as required through work records.
- Perform various levels of equipment, environmental and safety maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years in a supervisory role
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Manage a controlled workflow in a fast-paced environment
Job Demands:
Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
