JOB OVERVIEW
In this role a highly skilled and detail-oriented specialist will be working in our aviation repair station, focusing on High Pressure Compressor (HPC) blades for commercial jet engines. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of next-generation aircraft powerplants.
- Perform visual, dimensional inspections on HPC blades and vanes using approved tools and gauges.
- Verify conformity to specificationsand repair manuals.
- Identify defects such as cracks, wear, erosion, or distortion, and document findings accurately.
- Interpret inspection criteria, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Record inspection results in accordance with company and FAA documentation standards.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve nonconformance issues.
- Maintain calibration and cleanliness of inspection tools and work areas.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Proficiency with common inspection tools (micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, borescopes).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, advanced repair techniques, and FAA/EASA regulatory compliance. (Preferred)
