Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vans, passenger vans, or personal vehicles along local routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing basic inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow GPS navigation systems to navigate efficiently through designated routes and adapt to traffic conditions.
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all state transportation regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during every shift.
- Assist passengers demonstrating courteous and respectful service.
- Complete all required documentation such as trip logs, incident reports, and vehicle maintenance records accurately.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, or shuttle van operator with a strong understanding of passenger vehicle operation.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure efficient transportation.
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards for passenger vehicles and commercial driving licenses (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and coordinating with dispatch teams
- Strong commitment to safe driving practices including adhering to traffic laws and maintaining vehicle safety standards.
