NO SPECIAL LICENSE, ENDORSEMENTS, OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED FOR DRIVING.
THIS IS A DUAL LOCATION POSITION. MAIN HOURS WILL BE SPENT DRIVING TO CUSTOMER LOCATIONS FOR REPAIRS SERVICE AND DOWN TIME WILL BE AT WAREHOUSE IN ASSEMBLY POSITION.

6AM - 4:30PM
Description of Job:
The Field Service Technician refers to a digital log and tracking system to provide repairs and maintenance tasks for customers and diagnose errors or technical problems that arise during, after installation at customer’s location. The Field Service Technician will also work in production when there is down time from being out in the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Check output to ensure highest quality
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts to supervisor on duty
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner while following all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools (e.g. Wrenches) and machines (e.g. Hose Crimpers)
- Proven experience working with and understanding of Flex-Tech product
- Punctuality in a fast-paced work environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical dexterity
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, slide in different environments and spaces
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
Work Environment:
- Factory floor
- Employee may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions during travel and service at or outside the customer’s facility
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Closed toe shoes when at FT Industries
- Visibility vest when traveling on Field Service business and at customer locations
- Customers may require safety glasses
Supervisory Responsibility:
- None
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
