Part-Time Personal Assistant
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Personal Assistant to primarily support the owner of our leasing and property management company. This role focuses on providing administrative and organizational assistance by maintaining physical and electronic files, organizing records and documents, tracking important reminders and deadlines, coordinating administrative tasks, and helping the owner stay organized and efficient. The position will also serve as backup support for leasing and property management operations as needed.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic bookkeeping knowledge or experience is preferred, but strong administrative skills, dependability, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities are the primary qualifications for success in this role.
Schedule
- Part-time (20–30 hours per week)
- Monday–Friday; specific work schedule to be determined at the time of hire
- Occasional local travel during normal business hours is required to include mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
- Maintain office and property supply inventory
- Run business-related errands, including bank deposits, post office visits, and other administrative tasks
- Help keep track of calendar reminders, upcoming appointments, and important deadlines
- Meet vendors, contractors, and service providers at residential and commercial properties
- Purchase and pick up office, maintenance, and property supplies as needed
- Prepare documents, respond to emails, and perform data entry
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping
- Provide administrative support to the owner and assist with special projects as assigned
- Serve as backup support for leasing and property management operations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, executive assistant, office support, or property management experience preferred
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge or QuickBooks experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
- Professional demeanor when interacting with tenants, vendors, contractors, and clients
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment

Work Location
This is an on-site position. The essential duties of this role must be performed in person during scheduled work hours. Regular attendance at the office and occasional travel to local properties, bank locations, and supply stores are required.
