Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager
Overwatch Construction Management is seeking a full-time, on-site Assistant Construction Manager to support construction management activities on public building projects in Palo Alto, CA.
The successful candidate will assist the Construction Manager in overseeing project execution, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that construction activities meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Manager in daily project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations
- Help prepare project documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders
- Support the resolution of onsite issues and facilitate effective problem-solving
- Participate in project meetings and assist with project close-out procedures
- Primarily onsite at construction project locations
- Collaborative office environment as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- CQM-C certification preferred
- 4-7 years of experience in commercial construction as a Assistant Construction Manager
- Experience working for a general contractor or construction management firm
- Cost and schedule management experience
- Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and construction management software (experience with Procore is a plus)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required

Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
