What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title / Abstract Research Analyst position at FS Minerals LTD?
We are seeking a Highly motivated and detail-oriented Title Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Title team, you will play a critical role in research and confirmation of land and mineral ownership in Texas, USA.
Research and analyze property ownership records and other legal documents to determine mineral and land ownership.
Maintain accurate records of all land rights agreements and related documentation. The ideal candidate will research and capture the following using public records:
Title Chain ownership for:
· Mineral right ownership
· Land ownership
· Interest in Oil and / or Gas wells
Performs in-house title information gathering, organizes and analyzes title documents to assess rights information, and performs internal title updates.
May be asked to provide administrative support and record keeping to the title section.
Qualifications & Skills
· Fluent (reading, writing and verbal) in English
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong project management skills
· Strong research and analytical skills
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
· Familiarity with legal documents, land rights agreement and government regulations as they pertain to Texas land ownership.
Plus Skills
· Master’s degree in Land Management, legal Studies or related field
· Experience in the US energy or natural resource industries
· Familiar searching on Texas County websites for title and ownership documentation
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
