GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Filter Operator is responsible for operating either the Koch, Industrial Filter (I.F.), or Roto-Vac Filters, by filtering cloudy products into clarified products. Fills and empties product tanks, clean in place (C.I.P.) of tanks and equipment as required. Sets up hoses and lines. When running I.F. or Roto-vac, employees are required to dump 30 -50 lbs. bags of filter aid to process tanks.

- Strong knowledge of sanitation, CIP and COP procedures

- Initiative to learn and cross train on other equipment
WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in the ingredient, beverage, or food processing industry
- Equipment operating experience
- Good reading, writing and verbal skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Forklift operating skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent or higher.
