Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a lively attitude
- Serve ice cream and other treats accurately and efficiently using proper food handling techniques
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions smoothly and securely
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, counters, and dining spaces
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including scooping, topping, and packaging ice cream products
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cash register operations and change distribution
- Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food storage procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred; experience with quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a bonus; willingness to learn new skills is essential
