About Us
Beaches and Cream Café is a coastal coffee-and-gelato spot in Panama City Beach. We Proudly Serve Starbucks®, alongside hand-scooped gelato, fresh café fare, and frozen treats for locals and beach visitors alike. It's a fast, friendly, high-energy environment — especially on weekends — and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of people and takes pride in doing the little things well.
What You'll Do
- Make espresso and coffee drinks to recipe — pulling shots, steaming milk, and keeping quality consistent through a rush
- Scoop and serve gelato, build frozen drinks, and plate café food orders
- Handle light food prep, including minimal slicing of vegetables and meats — you should be comfortable using knives
- Keep the walk-in cooler stocked and organized during downtime
- Run the register on our Square and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Keep the counter, prep areas, and dining space clean, stocked, and up to food-safety standards
- Deliver warm, attentive service that keeps customers coming back
What We're Looking For
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to handle a crowd — staying calm, accurate, and organized when a rush of customers hits all at once
- Comfortable using knives for basic prep
- Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to the weight of a case of water (about 30 lbs)
- Weekend availability is required — our busiest and most important days
- Open availability is a big plus, especially for closing shifts
- Must be 18 or older (we serve alcohol)
- Previous Starbucks experience is a huge plus
- Prior café, barista, or food service experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person
- Food Handler certification a plus (or willingness to obtain after hire)
Hours & Schedule
- We're open 7:00 AM–10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM–11:00 PM Friday and Saturday (hours subject to change with the season)
- Part-time, with weekend availability required
- Open to all availability — closers especially encouraged to apply
