Essential Responsibilities
- Precision Baking: Execute all recipes at 100% accuracy. We don't "eyeball" ingredients; we follow proven processes to ensure the same high quality every day.
- Mixing & Production: Master the use of industrial mixers and large-scale ovens to produce our cookies, cakes, and specialty desserts.
- Daily Preparation: Manage the "Mise en Place"-scaling, weighing, and measuring ingredients with surgical precision.
- Finishing Work: Frost and decorate our signature cakes and cupcakes, and scoop cookie dough with high efficiency.
- Kitchen Pace: Work with a true sense of urgency to meet production deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Maintenance: Keep a pristine workspace and assist in the deep-cleaning and organization of the bakery.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial kitchen experience (required).
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Technical Skill: Proven ability to follow complex recipes and operate commercial-grade kitchen equipment safely.
- Stamina: This is a physical role. You must be able to stand for long shifts and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Availability: Must be able to work long hours and frequent weekends to keep up with our busiest times.
