We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to lead daily retail pharmacy operations in Mt Vernon Illinois.

Pharmacist in Charge Role:
The Pharmacist-in-Charge will oversee a supportive team while ensuring smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and a patient focused approach
Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Provide excellent patient care, including prescription verification, counseling, and medication therapy management
Supervise, train, and mentor a team
Manage and optimize workflow using PioneerRx pharmacy software
Oversee compliance packaging operations using Dispill to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate and oversee weekday deliveries to patients and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient service
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
Build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the local community
Ensure quality assurance and compliance standards are consistently met
Pharmacist in Charge Background Profile:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program
Active pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum of 5 years of retail pharmacy experience
Proven experience in a leadership or management capacity preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and compliance standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy management software is a plus
Experience with compliance packaging (Dispill) is preferred
