Production Manager Role:
The Production Manager will take full ownership of the construction lifecycle, overseeing projects from sales handoff through completion. This Production Manager role is a newly created leadership position designed to scale operations, improve efficiency, and drive team performance.
The Production Manager will lead multiple concurrent residential construction projects while managing schedules, teams, and client relationships. This Production Manager will balance hands-on leadership with strategic oversight in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Oversee 10–20 concurrent residential construction projects $50K to six-figure builds
Manage project timelines ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Own scheduling, crew assignments, and workflow optimization
Maintain quality control through regular site visits and performance oversight
Lead and develop field teams and a Project Manager
Train, mentor, and support team growth as the company scales
Participate in hiring and team expansion efforts
Serve as the primary client contact during construction phases
Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and ensure a high-quality experience
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and operations teams
Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
Take full ownership of production with minimal oversight
Production Manager Background Profile:
10 years of experience in construction project management or production management
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and teams
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with scheduling systems and production tools
Bachelor’s degree preferred
PMP or similar certification is a plus
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive results
