- Handles and processes returned mail per guidelines which includes sorting, scanning, sending agency notifications and documenting policies as needed.
- Scans documents into imaging system, links items to policies, and identifies document types for workflow management purposes.
- Processes simple to moderate endorsements not limited mortgage changes, mailing and property address changes.
- Answers telephone inquiries from policyholders and mortgage companies regarding the verification of coverage and billing information.
- Answer policyholder calls about setting up the customer portal and resetting passwords.
- Handles linking of the queues in Image Now to ensure endorsement work is routed accordingly.
- Assists with projects that will allow the personal lines underwriting department to be more efficient and accurate
- Performs light data entry according to defined guidelines.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); additionally, any undergraduate education desirable, or one to three years insurance related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have an active 20-44 insurance license.
