Job Summary: Treatment Coordinator/Referral Relationship Specialist
The Treatment Coordinator’s role is integral to practice growth and success. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating patients' insurance benefits, constructing/presenting treatment plans as diagnosed by the Doctor, providing financial alternatives, and helping remove any other barriers to completing treatment. Additionally, this person will lead marketing efforts on a weekly basis to create and foster relationships with referring dentist practices, its team members, and patients to generate surgery referrals to our practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify patient benefits and coordinate benefits with expected treatment plans prior to appointments
- Notify new patients of expected out of pocket amounts prior to treatment rendered
- Construct and present treatment plans based off Doctors diagnosis
- Provide financial alternatives and assist patients with 3rd party financing options
- Coordinate any appointments needed in other offices prior to treatment
- Follow up with online appointment requests as it relates to the lead-to-sales process via Salesforce
- Track case acceptance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Follow up with all outstanding treatment opportunities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Foster and maintain relationships with all current and potential referral offices through networking, office visits, lunch and learns etc on a weekly basis
- Partner with marketing and operations managers on periodic campaign initiatives
- Assist with content creation for marketing platforms as requested
- Use practice management and other pertinent software to accurately track referral sources on a monthly basis
- Actively participate and lead in all marketing efforts made by the office to increase referral production and other lead sources
- Be the liaison between Frontline Affiliate office, referral doctors' practices, Marketing, and Operations leadership to communicate accurate and updated practice information, as well as patient information
- Maintain the offices Salesforce platform for all sales/referral dashboard tracking
Required Skills and Abilities
- Dental knowledge required
- Knowledge of dental insurance benefits required
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
- Knowledge of medical insurance benefits helpful
- Experience with Denticon practice management system helpful
- Prior experience working in Salesforce or comparable CRM helpful
- Confidence with presenting large/multistep/complex case treatment plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills

- Must have flexibility to attend marketing events that occasionally occur during evenings or Mondays
Education and Experience
- Dental experience required
- Prior sales experience is a plus
- Highschool diploma required, higher education preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, driving, using a phone, and working at a computer.
- Ability to move within the office as needed for meetings, access office equipment, and escort patients to treatment areas.
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds if necessary.
