Role Description
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role supports daily HR operations by maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, assisting with onboarding, and coordinating interviews and meetings. Responsibilities include managing HR-related correspondence, organizing confidential files, updating HR databases and spreadsheets, and assisting with benefits and policy inquiries. The role also provides administrative support to HR leadership, such as scheduling, preparing reports, and responding to employee questions in a professional and timely manner. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant collaborates with team members across the company to help ensure smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience.
Qualifications
- Human Resources (HR) knowledge and experience supporting HR processes, employee records, and basic HR compliance.
- Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills, including scheduling, document preparation, and file management.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with employees, managers, and external partners.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and HR systems or databases.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or HR certification is beneficial.
- Experience in an industrial or energy-sector environment is a plus.
