Position Overview
The Project Manager at Frontier Services Group is responsible for managing the daily production activities of reconstruction projects. This includes subcontractor coordination, production scheduling, field supervision, and ensuring the project is executed on time and to quality standards. The Project Manager is also responsible for project budgeting, buyout, and ensuring subcontractor compliance. The Project Manager does not handle estimating, contract execution, or financial draw requests; those are owned by the assigned Project Director. Instead, the PM is focused on delivering field results, safety, compliance, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Oversight & Scheduling
- Coordinate and manage daily job site activities and subcontractor schedules
- Maintain the production schedule and ensure on-time progress for each phase
- Address field issues, delays, and resolve site conflicts quickly and effectively
- Conduct job site meetings, inspections, and ensure quality expectations are met.
2. Subcontractor Coordination
- Assign work orders, ensure subcontractors understand scope and timing expectations
- Verify work completion and approve conversion of work orders to purchase orders
- Ensure all subs follow site safety protocols and submit required documentation
- Collect lien releases and manage trade partner expectations.
3. Budgeting & Buyout
- Build out detailed project budgets based on approved estimate and assigned scope
- Buy out the project with preferred subcontractors, negotiate pricing and scope clarity
- Track committed costs versus actual incurred costs in Procore
- Work with accounting and Project Director to validate billing alignment with progress.
4. Quality & Safety
- Conduct routine job site inspections to ensure work meets company quality standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
- Enforce job site cleanliness, material protection, and homeowner respect protocols
- Coordinate punch list walkthroughs and final inspections.
5. Closeout Support
- Ensure all fieldwork is complete prior to COS request
- Submit completion photos and documentation into Procore
- Support Project Director in obtaining COS and final billing documentation
Role Boundaries – What This Position Does Not Include
Customer contract negotiation or scope presentations (handled by Project Director)
Initiating draw requests, tracking customer payments, or billing submission
Submitting insurance supplements or negotiating financial scope changes
Writing estimates or revising the Xactimate scope
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or bachelor’s in construction management or related field preferred
Experience: 3 years in residential or commercial construction field management or site supervision
Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 required. IICRC WRT or FSRT preferred
Skills: Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Excel, scheduling tools. Strong leadership and coordination skills
Work Environment & Requirements
Field-based position with daily job site presence required
Must be able to walk job sites, climb stairs, and navigate construction environments
Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required to meet project timelines
