The community services are in a central building fostering a great community spirit. The Town Centre houses the school, medical centre, theatre, gymnasium and shopping.

- Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- A sound knowledge of provincial curricula
- Previous teaching experience
- A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
- Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
