Frontier Community Resources (FCR) is seeking an innovative, energetic, creative, and relationship-focused professional to serve as our next Director of Marketing, Communications, & Business Development. This is a unique opportunity to join an established and respected economic development organization whose work directly impacts businesses, communities, and families throughout Southern and Southwestern Idaho.

As the organization's chief marketing and communications professional and a member of the management team, you will lead Frontier Community Resources' marketing, communications, public relations, stakeholder engagement, and business development initiatives throughout Southern Idaho. You will help tell the stories behind successful businesses, strengthen relationships with community leaders and financial partners, and elevate the visibility of programs that create jobs, support entrepreneurs, and improve communities.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing, Communications, & Business Development serves as the organization's lead marketing and outreach professional. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that increase awareness of Frontier Community Resources, strengthen stakeholder relationships, expand program utilization, and enhance the organization's reputation throughout southern Idaho. The Director works collaboratively with staff, board members, lending partners, community leaders, and economic development organizations to advance the mission and strategic priorities of Frontier Community Resources.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

Strategic Marketing & Brand Management

· Develop and implement a comprehensive organization-wide marketing and communications strategy.

· Serve as the steward of the Frontier Community Resources brand.

· Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned across all programs and initiatives.

· Identify new opportunities to increase visibility, engagement, and organizational impact.

Digital Marketing & Communications

· Manage website content, digital marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.

· Create compelling content that educates, informs, and inspires stakeholders.

· Develop newsletters, marketing collateral, annual reports, and promotional materials.

· Monitor performance metrics and utilize data to improve results.

Public Relations & Storytelling

· Develop success stories and impact reports.

· Create brochures, presentations, advertisements, and promotional materials.

· Coordinate public relations and media outreach efforts.

· Produce content that highlights our clients, communities, and organizational impact.

Community Relations & Business Development

· Represent Frontier Community Resources at community events, conferences, chamber meetings, and economic development activities.

· Develop productive relationships with lenders, business leaders, elected officials, economic development professionals, and community stakeholders.

· Support efforts to expand utilization of organizational programs and services.

Organizational Leadership

· Serve as a member of the management team.

· Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and organizational growth.

· Recommend innovative approaches that strengthen the organization's long-term sustainability and impact.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in marketing, communications, business development, public relations, or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.

· Experience with digital marketing, website management, social media platforms, email marketing, and content creation.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Ability to travel regularly throughout Southern and Southwestern Idaho.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in economic development, community development, financial services, banking, lending, or nonprofit leadership.

· Experience working with boards of directors, elected officials, or community stakeholders.

· Graphic design, photography, video production, and storytelling experience.

· Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.

· Knowledge of SBA loan programs and economic development financing tools.
