Concrete Floor Coatings Installer
Location: Gasport, NY
Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Frontier Coatings installs high-performance concrete floor-coating systems in garages and other residential and commercial spaces. We are looking for a dependable installer who enjoys physical work, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in leaving behind a professional finished product.
Experience in concrete coatings, flooring, painting, construction, or surface preparation is required.
What You’ll Do
- Load, unload, stage, and maintain jobsite equipment and materials
- Prepare concrete using walk-behind and handheld grinders
- Grind edges, corners, apron areas, and other detail work
- Identify and repair cracks, pits, spalling, and surface defects
- Vacuum and clean concrete before coating
- Measure, mix, and apply polyurea and polyaspartic coatings
- Broadcast decorative flake evenly across the floor
- Scrape, clean, and prepare the flake surface for topcoat
- Squeegee, roll, brush, and detail coatings
- Protect customers’ property and maintain an orderly jobsite
- Clean tools and equipment at the required time
- Complete end-of-job cleanup, loading, and material disposal
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Follow established procedures for safety, quality, and product timing

Physical and Work Requirements
This is an active construction position, not a light-duty painting job. Installers must be able to:
- Lift and carry 50 pounds
- Push, pull, and control heavy grinding equipment
- Kneel, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Work in garages and other spaces that may be hot, cold, dusty, or humid
- Wear required personal protective equipment
- Work long days when a coating installation must be completed within its required timeline
- Work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends (rare) when scheduled
- Travel to jobsites throughout Niagara and Erie Counties
Experience That Helps
Previous experience is preferred but not required in areas such as:
- Concrete coatings or epoxy flooring
- Concrete grinding or polishing
- Flooring installation
- Painting or commercial coatings
- Concrete repair
- Construction or remodeling
- Trowel-applied materials
We will provide training on our coating systems, equipment, installation procedures, and quality standards.
