Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lender to join our Pueblo branch team. This role will focus on developing and managing a portfolio of commercial loans, fostering strong customer relationships, and supporting the economic growth of our local community.

The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial lending, a strong understanding of credit analysis, and a passion for community banking.

Full-time, In Person

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage new and existing customer relationships.
• Meet with prospective and current customers to assess financing needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and ongoing financial guidance.
• Have knowledge of commercial loan products as well as additional products & services.
• Grow and manage a portfolio of commercial loans.
• Refer business to internal partners for mortgages, consumer loans, and additional services.
• Conduct credit analysis, prepare loan presentations, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor loan performance and proactively address potential issues or risks.
• Actively participate in community events and networking opportunities to promote Frontier Bank and develop new business.
• Collaborate with branch staff to provide a seamless and positive customer experience.
• Embrace and demonstrate Frontier Bank’s core values which embody our commitment to our clients, team members, and communities.
• Be self-motivated and have strong time management skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–5 years of lending experience in commercial banking preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis and loan structuring.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to develop new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Commitment to community involvement and service.

Compensation

• Competitive salary range: $60,000 – $90,000, depending on experience.
