Your Opportunity, Your Team

• As an Associate Merchant with Frontgate, you will be responsible for supporting both the creation and execution of the creative product development. You will also be responsible for driving the growth business strategies and assortment plans for specific categories, with oversight from your Senior Merchant of Outdoor. You will support in the delivery of sales and profit goals by analyzing performance and sharing result driving insights, while managing daily business operations.
  
  

Where You'll Work

• This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester, Ohio office several days per month. Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
  
  

What You'll Do

• Support the Senior Merchant in driving the assortment strategy by influencing decisions at every stage of the product lifecycle. Support Merchant in the development and execution of business strategy. Develop an understanding of the connection between financial strategies and related merchandise goals for their areas.
• Works cross-functionally to align on key collection/items strategy, executes both preseason and in season strategy in collaboration with Planning and Sourcing.
• Responsible for select category/products under guidance of Merchant. Develop a product assortment that is unique, proprietary, and focused. This assortment should deliver on quality within the brand ethos. It should also excite and inspire, while delivering on customer needs. Furthermore, it must deliver the financial goals for a sub-category or product category.
• Partner with Design throughout product development and may develop product directly with vendor partners. Drive the financial results through partnering with Planning, E-Comm merchants and with support of the Merchant.
• Partner with entire Merchant team to coordinate products for style out and asset creation to deliver inspiring whole home looks and drive category products.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 1-3 years merchandising experience with success.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
• Ability to manage processes and projects independently.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Show leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
