Position Summary
Frontage Laboratories is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior/Principal Scientist to join our In Vitro ADME group. This is a laboratory-based position responsible for the development, execution, interpretation, and reporting of a broad range of in vitro ADME studies supporting drug discovery and IND-enabling programs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, perform, troubleshoot, and interpret a broad range of in vitro ADME studies including metabolic stability, CYP inhibition, time-dependent inhibition (TDI), CYP induction, reaction phenotyping, enzyme kinetics, plasma protein binding, blood-to-plasma partitioning, tissue binding, using LC-MS/MS-based analytical methods.
- Independently conduct routine and complex ADME assays while ensuring high-quality data generation and timely project completion.
- Perform sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analysis, data processing, and result interpretation.
- Prepare study protocols, technical reports, and scientific summaries.
- Troubleshoot experimental and analytical challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and laboratory safety requirements.
- Support client discussions by providing scientific expertise in study design and data interpretation.
Education & Requirements
- Ph.D. or MS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline with more than 5 years of relevant industry experience,
- Strong hands-on experience with multiple in vitro ADME assays.
- Extensive experience with LC-MS/MS-based quantitative bioanalysis is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and laboratory problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple studies in a fast-paced CRO environment.
