What are the responsibilities and job description for the PIZZAMAN AND COUNTER SERVER position at FRONT STREET PIZZA?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas, salads, and other menu items in a timely manner
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area
- Take customer orders at the counter and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly
- Monitor food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items and upsell to customers
- Culinary background or training is beneficial
- Understanding of food safety standards and procedures
