π’ ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Assistant Property Manager, you'll be involved in every part of what makes a property management business run: leasing, tenant support, regulatory compliance and day-to-day office operations. You'll work directly alongside our Property Manager and ownership team, building a skillset that spans the full business.
We're a smaller, close-knit team, which means your contributions are visible, your voice is heard and your growth is a priority.

β WHAT YOU'LL DO

π Leasing & Occupancy
βΈ Show units and market properties to prospective residents
βΈ Review and approve applications, verifying income and ensuring applicants meet qualification guidelines
βΈ Oversee move-ins, confirming all documents are signed and payments are collected
π€ Resident Relations
βΈ Deliver responsive, professional service to residents for inquiries, complaints and maintenance needs
βΈ Assist with new resident onboarding and coordinate ongoing resident services
βΈ Prepare and deliver notices (late rent, lease violations, etc.) in coordination with the Property Manager
ποΈ Administration & Operations
βΈ Manage office reception and phones as a welcoming point of contact
βΈ Maintain accurate records: certifications, leases, vendor documentation and correspondence
βΈ Support vendor coordination, supply procurement and maintenance scheduling
βΈ Assist with portfolio marketing efforts to minimize vacancy

βΈ A strong communicator who interacts professionally with residents, owners, vendors and teammates
βΈ Adaptable and composed under pressure with solid time management skills
βΈ Equally effective working independently and collaborating within a team
βΈ Service-focused with a genuine desire to take care of residents and property owners
βΈ Comfortable with property management software (Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi, or similar, or eager to learn)
βΈ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
