Duties
- Greet and assist guests during late-night hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts using property management systems such as OPERA or similar software to verify charges, payments, and reservations.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily financial transactions, occupancy status, and any discrepancies to support accurate accounting practices.
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries via phone communication with excellent phone etiquette.
- Respond swiftly to hotel emergencies by following established procedures to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of the premises, and controlling access to restricted areas during your shift.
- Support guest relations by resolving issues efficiently, offering multilingual assistance when needed, and promoting a positive experience for all visitors.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, particularly in night audit roles or similar positions.
- Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and client communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols to handle unexpected situations confidently.
- Previous resort or hotel experience is highly desirable, especially in environments that require multilingual or bilingual communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality service.
- Excellent phone communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette to assist guests effectively at all times.
