From The Heart Home Care – Charleston Office is actively hiring dependable and experienced Caregivers/PCAs in the Summerville, SC area.

We are looking for caregivers who are serious about working and understand the responsibility that comes with accepting a client assignment. Our clients depend on us for consistent care, and we need caregivers we can depend on to show up on time, communicate, and work the shifts they commit to.

Available Opportunities

We have current and upcoming client assignments that may include:

• Weekday shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Morning, afternoon, and evening opportunities
• Part-time schedules
• Consistent weekly assignments
• Fill-in and additional-hour opportunities

Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process based on current client needs and your availability.

Caregiver Responsibilities May Include

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Toileting and incontinence care as needed
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship and one-on-one support
• Mobility and safety assistance
• Assistance with established daily routines
• Following the client's individual plan of care
• Completing required visit documentation
• Communicating client concerns or changes to the office

SERIOUS & RELIABLE CAREGIVERS NEEDED

We are looking for applicants who understand that accepting a client means making a commitment to that client.

If you accept an assignment, we expect you to:

✅ Report to your scheduled shifts on time
✅ Maintain consistent attendance
✅ Communicate professionally with the office
✅ Follow the client's care plan
✅ Complete required documentation
✅ Notify the office appropriately if an issue occurs
✅ Take your commitment to your client seriously

Repeated call-outs, no-shows, and accepting assignments you cannot consistently work are not what we are looking for.

What We're Looking For

• Professional caregiving/PCA experience preferred
• Dependable and consistent attendance is REQUIRED
• Caring, compassionate, patient, and professional
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
• Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services do not qualify
• Must be able to reliably commute to Summerville, SC
• MUST BE A CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
• Ability to pass required background screening
