Overview

You will offer support & equipment and/or fitness knowledge to your customers who are new to the garage gym revolution (or gym owner life) & don’t know where or how to start. You will cultivate relationships with your customers & seek word of mouth leads. Most of your leads will be warm- these are our existing or new customers reaching out for new gear, and you just need to chat/email/call/text them to find out what they need, build them a quote, and close the sale! There may be some after-sales service, but most of this will be handled by our customer service team- which you will work side-by-side with.

  • Strong math skills- there is a lot of wheeling and dealing with our customers on larger quotes and you need to be comfortable massaging the numbers to make a deal work for them, and for us
  • Familiarity with excel & Google docs
  • A "WOD-positive" attitude. You don't have to train at a box, but you do have to respect what our customers are dedicating their lives to!
  • Strong sales experience
  • The 3-5 year desire to grow a career in sales or marketing
  • Actively try to push the company forward - bring new ideas to the team
  • Be a team player & work well with others


Major responsibilities

  • Closing in-bound Sales via the main Sales Team Email Address, your personal Fringe email, in-bound phone calls, Facebook and other Warm channels. This involves informing customers about product specifications and use-cases, creating quotes and working with the customers to ensure they have the best experience.
  • Hitting daily, weekly and monthly sales targets for revenue, AOV and gross margin. ($125k monthly Rev, $700 AOV at 60% GM)
  • Hitting Outbound metrics consisting of Cold Emails, Phone calls, Facebook and LinkedIn Activity.
  • Utilizing our CRM (HubSpot) to track open deals, follow up on leads and organize your sales pipeline.
  • Following up with customers who have made purchases to offer any additional service they need.
  • Assisting in Customer Service over-flow, especially with customers you have worked with.
  • Managing your Sales in our systems (BrightPearl and Shopify) and adhering to all standards of those systems found in our Sales Manual and SOP’s.
  • Assisting in the Showroom when Retail staff is occupied.


Additional responsibilities

  • Contributing ideas and feedback to the team that will assist in growing the Sales Team revenue share and increase performance.
  • Offering in-home/gym consultations that can require travel locally.
  • Assisting with planning and working Quarterly Garage Sales one weekend every quarter.
  • Assisting with DC activity when needed.
  • Assisting with Local Marketing.
  • Assembling fitness equipment and providing feedback on new products.
  • Posting Facebook Marketplace ads to help drive local sales traffic.
  • Coordinating with other teams to assist in the growth of Fringe Sport.
  • Offering any additional services needed by the Fringe Sport team.


Compensation

  • $30,000 per year with a commission structure.

Salary range

  • $30,000 - $30,000 per year
