Process Engineer

FrieslandCampina Ingredients is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations through process optimization, continuous improvement, and capital project execution. This role partners closely with Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient production while driving technical improvements across the site.

As a Technology Specialist within FrieslandCampina Ingredients North America Inc., you will be an integral part of our Global Supply Chain team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development, optimisation, and smooth operation of the technological systems that underpin our supply chain processes. Your expertise will support the achievement of operational excellence and drive continuous improvement within a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and IT to identify technology needs and develop solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Implement, maintain, and support technology platforms and tools used across the supply chain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with company standards.
• Analyse business processes to identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and other technology-driven enhancements.
• Provide training and technical assistance to end-users, fostering adoption and effective use of supply chain systems.
• Monitor technology performance, manage troubleshooting efforts, and liaise with external vendors or partners as needed to resolve issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to supply chain management, recommending innovative solutions where appropriate.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of data security and governance policies within the supply chain technology scope.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience working in technology roles supporting supply chain operations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain management software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical and analytical approach to identifying and implementing solutions.
• Effective communication abilities, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels and across diverse teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in technology and supply chain disciplines.

This position is on-site and plays an important role in maintaining strong collaboration between technical and operational teams.

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $ 85,000 and $105,000 annually.  Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including years of work experience, education/training, and other considerations permissible by law.
