Friesen Ford is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our service team. This role is essential in ensuring that customer vehicles, used inventory, and new arrivals look their best before leaving the dealership. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Clean and detail vehicles inside and out, including washing, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, and window cleaning.
Shampoo carpets, clean upholstery, and remove stains as needed.
Perform engine bay cleaning and undercarriage washes when required.
Inspect finished work to ensure vehicles meet dealership appearance standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail bay, tools, and supplies.
Safely operate vehicles, moving them to and from the detail area.
Report any vehicle damage, cosmetic issues, or concerns to management.
Assist with lot organization, vehicle staging, or other service department tasks when needed.
Follow safety procedures, proper chemical handling guidelines, and dealership policies at all times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior detailing experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
