What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Warehouse Associate position at Friesen Auto?
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and quality.
Stock parts in the appropriate warehouse locations, maintaining proper labeling and organization.
Pull parts orders for technicians, sales staff, and other departments as needed.
Package and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery or transfer.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks.
Assist with tracking and managing returns, cores, and warranty parts.
Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
Support the parts counter team during peak times by helping locate and deliver needed items.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience preferred; automotive parts knowledge a plus.
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained.
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
