Charge Nurse (LPN) – Lead with Purpose in Person-Centered Care
Location: Friendsview in Newberg, Oregon
Schedule: Full-time | Day shift or NOC | Must be available weekends/holidays

What You'll Do

Guide and support caregivers and CMAs during your shift

Oversee and ensure quality care aligned with Friendsview's philosophy

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Lead shift reports and ensure smooth care transitions

Mentor and coach staff through hands-on leadership

Respond to incidents, complete documentation, and communicate with families

Build care plans, assess residents, and support their evolving needs

Collaborate across disciplines — from spiritual care to outpatient providers

Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment

Participate in training and educational growth opportunities

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Oregon
-
CPR certified (current)

Prefer 1 year in long-term care

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Capable of making sound nursing judgments in routine & emergency situations
