Description
- Assist with client check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and reschedule client appointments as needed.
- Make reminder calls for upcoming medical appointments.
- Make reminder calls for the intake appointments and planning to meet the client upon their arrival, reducing the anxiety of entering a new clinic.
- Contact clients in the event of provider cancellations or changes.
- Assist with coordinating information for final decision making regarding the request for discharge.
- Cover the front desk during breaks, absences, or as assigned.
- Provide a welcoming and supportive presence for clients in waiting areas.
- Assist with measuring height, weight, and BMI for medical appointments.
- Assist with community contacts related to requesting records, tracking blood work, contacting schools, etc. to assist with coordination of care and service delivery.
- Monitor client behavior in public spaces and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to clinic policies and procedures to ensure client safety and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Professional, compassionate, and respectful demeanor.
