What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Coordinator - Pottery Worx position at FRIENDSHIP COMMUNITY CARE?
Schedule: Monday - Friday with possible Saturday hours based on needs of the program. Hours of operation are 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Manager hours may vary based on needs of the program.

SUMMARY:
An integral team member in the oversight of the Pottery Worx Program. Has understanding of the day-to-day business practices of Pottery Worx, ADDT programming standards, and the community at large. Monitors client success under the ADDT Medicaid guidelines and regulations. Works with the Director of Retail Services to assure success of day-to-day business practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures kiln maintenance is performed as needed.
- Follow required procedures for cleaning and maintaining kiln.
- Ensure clean, clutter-free, and professional environment.
- Maintains inventory with approval from supervisor.
- Hosts special parties/events scheduled during and after regular business hours, including 'pottery to go.'
- Complete and maintain required paperwork related to ADDT, FCC, and CARF requirements.
- Conduct and document required monthly and quarterly emergency drills (fire, tornado, etc.).
- Conduct and document Quarterly Health and Safety Inspections.
- Responsible for business marketing and social media with oversight by Supervisor.
- Responsible for weekly and quarterly reports to Supervisor and Director of Adult Services.
- Supervises employees in accordance with FCC policies and applicable laws.
- Communicates and works with Curriculum Coordinator/ADDT Instructor to develop and maintain a monthly calendar for ADDT activities within Pottery Worx.
- Assist with client daily activities, goals, and vocational training within the studio.
- Complete all ADDT required documentation.
- Follow all Pottery Worx operating procedures to ensure process is maintained at all Pottery Worx locations.
- Provide painting classes to clients and the public.
- Supervise up to fifteen individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Develop and maintain high level of customer service for studio customers and ADDT clients.
- Exhibits proper cooperation, enthusiasm, and interest in all areas necessary for success for all FCC and associated services provided.
- Serves as Driver for participant day trips to various state locations. Driving may be required as much as a daily basis. Required to undergo periodic driving test and demonstrate proficiency in the operation of a motor vehicle, including passenger vans. Employee may also be required to drive his/her own personal vehicle at times and maintain adequate liability coverage on any personal vehicle used to transport participants.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
