What are the responsibilities and job description for the RETAIL COORDINATOR position at Friendship Community Care, Inc?
Pottery Worx Bryant is seeking a creative individual with retail experience to manage our a paint-your-own-pottery studio and work with adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a vocational training and day program setting. An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Must be willing to learn to paint bisque pottery/techniques, glaze, load/unload kiln, and lift up to 25 pounds. Must be willing to work in a varied environment, be comfortable with children, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be able to work a flexible schedule due to parties or events scheduled after regular studio hours and an occasional Saturday. Must be able to complete required paperwork and communicate effectively. Two or four year degree preferred but not required.
This is a safety sensitive position. HSD/GED required. Must be able to pass background checks/drug screen and maintain a clean driving record along with a valid AR driver’s license and reliable transportation with state minimum liability insurance. Training provided.
Hours: Mon-Fri 10:00am-6:00pm (occasional after hours or Saturday as needed for events)
