Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Educational Level:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in the State of Arkansas.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Health Services, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of recent clinical experience, including 5 years of supervisory responsibility
Location: Office can be located in either Rogers or Russellville
SUMMARY:
The Administrator of Nursing provides strategic and operational oversight for all nursing and health-related services across Friendship Community Care (FCC). This includes direct leadership of all nursing services within the Intermediate Care Facility. This position ensures high-quality care, regulatory compliance, staff training, and coordination across departments to meet the clinical and health needs of all individuals served. This Administrator also leads initiatives that improve health outcomes, uphold safety standards, and foster a culture of compassionate care throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership for all clinical nursing, and health services across FCC, including the ICF.
- Maintain 24-hour accountability for the quality and safety of nursing care delivered throughout the organization.
- Supervise all nursing personnel and ensure compliance with scope of practice, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and regular review of individualized care plans for people served.
- Ensure medication administration protocols are followed across all facilities.
- Develop and maintain nursing procedures that meet current standards of care and legal regulations.
- Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes to drive performance improvement and address areas of risk.
- Coordinate interdepartmental clinical nursing care and provide consultation on medical and nursing needs.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives related to nursing, infection control, and health & safety compliance.
- Participate in admissions and clinical nursing reviews to determine appropriate placement and service delivery.
- Establish and monitor appropriate staffing levels and training programs for all clinical nursing team members.
- Evaluate and implement health technologies to improve care efficiency and accuracy.
- Support strategic planning and budgeting related to nursing and health service delivery.
- Lead internal investigations, audits, and corrective action plans pertaining to clinical care incidents or deficiencies.
- Serve as a liaison with state health departments and regulatory bodies during surveys and inspections.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing clinical nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Foster a professional and inclusive workplace that supports continuous improvement and teamwork.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Driver’s License and Personal Liability Auto Insurance required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to travel to various FCC locations throughout the state. May be required to lift or support individuals weighing up to 50 pounds. Work environment includes office and residential care settings with moderate to high activity levels. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring adherence to all regulatory health and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this role successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in the State of Arkansas.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Health Services, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of recent clinical experience, including 5 years of supervisory responsibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal health care regulations and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in infection control, medication management, care planning, and person-centered service delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership in health/safety initiatives and clinical staff development.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to oversee multiple programs and teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to manage sensitive health issues discreetly.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or complex medical conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, EHR platforms, and digital care systems.
