Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: Based on experience
Education Level: Associates Degree or 2 years' experience in vehicle inspection or mechanic experience and 1 years' experience in a supervisory role
SUMMARY: The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for all monthly fleet inspections and scheduling regular maintenance and repairs on all vehicles. This position will provide reports to management on maintenance and fleet progress.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties are not considered an inclusive list but are the following.

Prepares monthly inspection report on each vehicle.

Inspect vehicle components for damage or wear and reports issues to supervisor

Confers with repair shops to ensure timely and cost affective repair of fleet vehicles.

Remains available for contact via company phone at all times for emergency requirements.

Maintains general knowledge of techniques/industry standards, for vehicle fleet inspections.

Exhibits capability of reading/comprehending vehicle code scanner tool.

Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.

Exhibits leadership capabilities and a proficient level of automotive knowledge.

Collaborates with all other departments as needed to meet the needs of the entire organization as it pertains to this position.

Assures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws/regulations as well as CARF accreditation and other regulations as required by each licensing entity.

Assures safety and environmental compliance of all vehicles, owned/managed by FCC.

Drives vehicle to evaluate and identify malfunctions.

Works with the Maintenance Supervisor, Transportation Coordinator, and Facility Managers to complete all inspections on time and as directed.

Ensures compliance of department policies and procedures as needed upon approval of supervisor.

Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc., and the clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care's Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.

Qualifications:QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates Degree or equivalent with training in automotive mechanics, auto body repair or similar training. Work experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

2 years' experience in vehicle inspection or mechanic experience.

1 years' experience in a supervisory role.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic computer skills on MS Office and logistical programs.

Basic math and data analysis skills

Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed

Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Advanced knowledge of vehicle safety.
