We're looking for an AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN to join our team at KIA of BECKLEY!
Our ideal candidate will have 2 years of technician experience. Manufacturer or ASE certifications are preferred but on the job training will be strongly considered.
What You'll Do:
- Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems
- Accurately provide an estimate of the time needed for service
- Properly use tools and service equipment to diagnose and maintain vehicles
- Efficiently perform work specified on Repair Orders
- Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations
- Effectively communicate any issues or additional needs to Assistant Service Managers
- Adhere to dealership procedures for safety and standards of quality
Qualification Checklist:
- Diagnostic and repair experience required
- Broad knowledge of automotive mechanics
- Basic computer skills
- Able to learn new technology and service specifications
- Independent starter with the ability to work well on a team
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
