Currently, we operate one location in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where we proudly provide high-quality childcare and preschool services to approximately 100 families.
Description
Friendship Academy is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and energetic teacher to lead our School-Age Summer Camp program. This position offers a fun and engaging opportunity to work with children in a dynamic summer setting, with the potential to transition into a long-term role supporting our afterschool program and student transportation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to maintain and adhere to our mission, values, and vision.
Experience:
- Must meet minimum experience required for specific state of employment.
- Prefer 12 months of early childhood education or teaching experience.
Specialized Training:
- Requires 15 training hours per licensing year of professional development related to early childhood education.
- Complete all state-required trainings within the designated time frame set forth by the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care.
Certification/Licensure:
- If driving is required, must have possession of and ability to retain a current, valid driver’s license in good standing, and must carry the legally required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a background check through the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care: https://www.oregon.gov/delc/providers/pages/cbr.aspx.
- Must be 18 years of age or older; over 21 is preferred for driving eligibility.
Salary
$14.05 - $15.19 per hour
