Position: Elementary Teacher

Position Summary
The Elementary Teacher serves as both educator and spiritual mentor, providing Christ-centered instruction that nurtures students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. This position requires a teacher who loves Jesus, demonstrates Christian character, and views teaching as a ministry as well as a profession.
Spiritual Expectations

Instruction & Curriculum
· Plan and deliver engaging elementary lessons aligned with school curriculum standards.
· Teach core subjects including reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and Bible.
· Integrate faith and learning across all subject areas.
· Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
· Maintain high academic expectations while encouraging student growth.
Classroom Environment
· Create a safe, loving, and structured classroom atmosphere.
· Establish consistent classroom routines and expectations.
· Promote respect, kindness, responsibility, and Christian character.
· Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.
Student Development
· Encourage students’ spiritual, academic, and social development.
· Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
· Address individual learning needs with patience and care.
· Foster positive relationships built on encouragement and accountability.
Parent Communication
· Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
· Partner with families as co-laborers in Christian education.
· Participate in conferences, school events, and parent meetings.
Professional Responsibilities
· Attend staff meetings, professional development, and school functions.
· Collaborate with faculty and administration.
· Maintain lesson plans, grading records, and student documentation.
· Support school activities, chapel, and community events.
Qualifications
· Must love Jesus and demonstrate Christian maturity.
· Agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith.
· Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
· Teaching certification preferred but not required.
· Experience teaching elementary students preferred.
· Strong classroom management and communication skills.
· Passion for working with children and fostering a love of learning.
· Familiarity with Classical Education Curriculum is helpful.

Pay: $30,096.00 - $39,606.00 per year
