Job Summary
The Youth Services Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, development, implementation, and evaluation of all youth and young adult programming at Club Odyssey. This position provides direct supervision to Youth Services staff, including the Youth Services Coordinator, and ensures that all programming aligns with the mission and standards of Friends of Recovery Dedicated to Others, Inc.
The Youth Services Program Manager will collaborate with community partners, oversee volunteer engagement, ensure program quality and compliance, and lead strategic growth of youth services. This is a salaried position reporting directly to the Executive Director and Assistant Director.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Program Leadership & Management
- Provide overall direction, supervision, and evaluation of all youth and young adult programs and services.
- Supervise all Club Odyssey staff, including setting work shifts, ensuring compliance with company training requirements and certifications, and ensuring a healthy work environment.
- Ensure implementation of age-appropriate, evidence-based programming.
- Develop and evaluate new programs to meet community needs.
- Oversee monthly programming calendars and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety protocols.
Strategic Development & Community Engagement
- Lead outreach, recruitment, and marketing efforts.
- Represent Club Odyssey in public forums.
- Build partnerships with local schools and community organizations.
- Oversee the Clubhouse Advisory Committee.
Program Oversight & Participant Support
- Ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
- Uphold the clubhouse code of conduct.
- Provide guidance to staff and support to participants.
Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities
- Oversee data collection and reporting.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Monitor budgets and resources.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years experience working with youth.
- 2 years supervisory experience.
