Job Title: Program Manager for WILL Program

Status: Full-Time, Exempt.

Pay: $65,500 - $90,000 / year, depending on experience


JOB SUMMARY:

Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) is a nonprofit organization. FCSN WILL Program is seeking an energetic, patient, detail-oriented, and reliable Program Manager.



Responsibilities:

  1. Act as Administrator of the FCSN Community-Integrated Training Program;
  2. Organize and supervise the program in accordance with the policies established by the Executive Director and Board of Directors;
  3. Provide ongoing educational and training programs for Program Instructors and Program Coordinators;
  4. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and communicate with the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, the Regional Center, and other agencies;
  5. Acknowledge the receipt of the Department’s correspondence, deficiency notices, or field reports when the Department has request a response;
  6. Organize and supervise FCSN Community-Integrated Training Program for best program quality and smooth daily operations;
  7. Oversees the maintenance of client records and facility operations to meet ’s requirements;
  8. Ensure the timely correction of all cited deficiencies by Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, and the Regional Center;
  9. Proactively promoting prevention strategies as well as handle emergencies and special incidents;
  10. Provide for the continuous supervision of program operation;
  11. Oversee the areas of budgeting, program design and implementation, project planning, staff development and training, evaluation and the direction of program services;
  12. Coordinate with the FCSN Executive Director and other management staff to ensure the maintenance of financial and other records;
  13. Organize and monitor the intake and continuing assessment process;
  14. Adjust the program to accommodate the needs of all clients;
  15. Select, train, and supervise all Community-Integrated Training Program staff, including planning, managing, coordinating and evaluating staff efforts to achieve the program’s objectives and client outcomes; terminate staff who do not perform adequately to provide appropriate services and supports to program participants, or who otherwise violate FCSN policies, or the laws of the State of California or the United States of America;

 

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field or minimum of five-year experience in the social services field
  2. Experience: Minimum of two years experience in administration and two years of experience in supervision of staff (may be concurrent)
  3. Other Skills: Demonstrate knowledge of the regional center system, developmental disabilities, Lanternman Act, mental health diagnoses and effective behavioral strategies Demonstrates excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to work; effectively on a multi-disciplinary interagency team & cooperatively with diverse external collaborators; Possess excellent people skills and problem solving skills
  4. Mandatory Clearances: Have TB clearance & fingerprint clearance, absence of a criminal record, have valid California driver's license, clean DMV printout and current automobile insurance
  5. Certificates: Have current certification in CPR and first aid

 

Salary : $65,500 - $90,000
