We’re looking for an Assistant Produce Manager to help lead one of the most important departments in the store. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares about quality, takes pride in presentation, and wants to be part of a strong, accountable team. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a fresh, full, and visually strong produce department
- Stock, merchandise, clean, and cull product to ensure top quality at all times
- Receive and break down deliveries (refrigerated and dry; up to 50 lbs)
- Support ordering, inventory management, and pricing decisions
- Create and maintain clear, accurate signage
- Lead by example while supporting and directing team members
- Provide proactive, high-level customer service
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available Sundays
- Must be available at least 2 nights per week until 8 PM
- This is a full-time, year-round position
Qualifications
- 3 years of produce and grocery experience required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Able to lift and handle boxes up to 50 lbs
