Your Purpose: Philanthropy Data Specialist
Friends Life Community is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Philanthropy Data Specialist to oversee and optimize Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT
This position plays a vital role in supporting philanthropy, engagement, and reporting efforts for Friends Life Community. Your mission is to actively grow the impact of the organization in the community through leading and supporting the Philanthropy Department through accurate data management, timely reporting, and integrations.

We expect you to bring excellence to program implementation, demonstrating sound judgment, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills. Your active collaboration with co-workers and volunteers will result in efficiency within the Philanthropy Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pro Data Management & Integrity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Blackbaud RENXT
- Gift Entry
- Gift receipting
- Develop and implement data entry standards, naming conventions, and validation processes.
- Perform regular audits and data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support migration or synchronization projects between RENXT, Just Cause, Trillis, and Constant Contact
Reporting & Analytics
- Create and run queries, lists, and reports in RENXT to support philanthropy.
- Provide regular dashboards and data summaries for leadership and philanthropy teams.
- Support finance and philanthropy teams with reconciliations, campaign tracking, and donor segmentation.
System Administration & Support
- Manage user access, permissions, and training
- Collaborate with IT, admissions, philanthropy, and finance teams to improve workflows and data quality.
- Liaise with Blackbaud or other vendors for technical support and system enhancements.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes across systems.
- Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for consistent data handling.
- Assist in planning and implementing new data integrations or software upgrades.
Other Duties:
- Support all program goals and team members in FLC’s overall organizational goals.
- Fulfill organizational policies and procedures.
- All duties assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Blackbaud RENXT.
- Strong understanding of data structures, relationships, and integration principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Belief in the organization’s mission and the willingness to share the FLC brand script with others.
- An enthusiasm for guiding and motivating others towards program goals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback.
- Demonstration of core values: belonging, self-advocacy, and innovation.
- Ability to execute programming and projects with a team.
- Active demonstration of professionalism and good judgment throughout all work.
- CPR Certified within 90 days of employment. FLC to cover the cost of certification.

Compensation Package
This part-time, hybrid, 20 hours per week position offers a starting rate of $25/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
